This movie tries to show the inner workings of the brotherhood of soldiers. "Gardens of Stone" refers to Arlington National Cemetery, and the story centers on the Old Guard of elite soldiers who perform the internment ceremonies at Arlington.

     Directed by Francis Ford Coppola, there are a number of great names in this movie including James Caan, James Earl Jones, Anjelica Houston and D.B. Sweeney.
